How to add your new phone (device) for authentication

This article explains how to do a simple MFA reset.

In Microsoft Edge browser, go to settings and then go to "manage account" in your profile window.

Once in profile management panel, you can go to "security info" and find and delete your previous phone (device) used for authentication.

If you go to "add sign-in method", a QR code will be produced that must be scanned thru your Microsoft authenticator app on your phone.

It goes without saying that you must make sure on your new device that you have Microsoft Authenticator app installed.
